  李德铢,196311月生于江西南康,理学博士。现任中国科学院昆明植物研究所研究员、博士生导师,中国西南野生生物种质资源库主任;中国科学院昆明分院院长;中国植物学会副理事长,国际生命条形码计划(iBOL)科学指导委员会植物工作组共同主席,国际植物命名总委员会委员。  

  1983年毕业于江西农业大学林学系,获学士学位。19839月至19868月在西南林学院薛纪如教授指导下攻读硕士学位,较为系统地研究了中国竹亚科牡竹属(Dendrocalamus)的分类学,并参加了《中国植物志》(第9卷)的编写,总结了我国该属植物29种,包括9个新种。19872月至19903月在中国科学院昆明植物研究所攻读博士学位,在吴征镒教授和路安民教授指导下研究了中国-喜马拉雅地区葫芦科雪胆属(Hemsleya)的系统学与进化。此后,在国家自然科学基金(青年基金)的资助下,深化了对该属的研究,于1993年出版专著《雪胆属的系统与进化》,被吴征镒教授称为我国第一部较为完整的植物系统学专著19903月任昆明植物所任助理研究员,1993年任副研究员。199312月赴英国爱丁堡皇家植物园做博士后研究。199411月转入剑桥大学植物科学系暨植物园做第二期博士后兼Emmanuel学院Fellow,其间对忍冬科忍冬属(Lonicera)的研究发表在剑桥大学出版社出版的《European Garden Flora》上。1996年当选为伦敦林奈学会会员(Fellow of the Linnean Society of London)。199611月回国,被特批为研究员。1997年获国家杰出青年科学基金资助,同年入选中国科学院百人计划,在国内率先组建了分子植物地理学研究团队,较为系统地开展了洲际间断分布若干重要类群的分子系统发育与生物地理学研究。19979月至200510月任中国科学院昆明植物研究所副所长。2004年入选首批新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选,同年被英国爱丁堡皇家植物园聘为荣誉研究员。200510月至20146月任中国科学院昆明植物研究所所长。20143月起任中国科学院昆明分院院长。20147月被聘为中国科学院大学首批岗位教授。

研究领域:

  从事植物分类、分子系统发育、生物地理学和生物多样性保护研究。先后主持国家重大科学研究计划(973)项目、国家杰出青年基金、国家自然科学基金重点项目等多项,依托“分子植物地理学”研究团队,先后培养博士后6人,博士44人(其中外籍2名),硕士7人。目前在读博士生11名(其中外籍2名),硕士生5名。

  先后获国内外重要奖项10余项,包括1998年首届云南青年科技奖和第六届中国青年科技奖,2008年度云南省自然科学一等奖(排名第一),2010年度云南省自然科学特等奖(排名第五),2012年度云南省科技进步一等奖(排名第一)以及2013年度云南省科学技术杰出贡献奖等。因在中国-喜马拉雅地区生物多样性保护及中英科技合作中做出的杰出贡献,于2010年荣获英国王室授予的荣誉官佐勋章,成为新中国成立后首位获此荣誉的大陆公民。
