研究领域:
主要从事中国西南地区重要野生植物(特别是极小种群野生植物)保育生物学、植物色香味与动物进化、植物自然杂交与园艺利用、园林植物学等研究。作为项目/课题负责人主持国家重点研发计划项目、国家自然科学基金项目(含重点项目)、国家科技重大专项项目、科学院重大项目、国际合作项目等30余项,已发表学术论文160余篇,其中SCI刊物收录的论文90余篇,出版专著19( 9部合编),获省以上鉴定成果4项,获奖1项,获授权发明专利5项,培育具有我国自主知识产权的观赏植物新品种8个。
